Seasonic List Reveals GeForce RTX 5090 With 500W TDP And RTX 5080 With 350W

Seasonic, known for maintaining a list of current and upcoming hardware, has updated their power calculator to include NVIDIA’s unreleased RTX 50 series. Surprisingly, this update reveals actual TDP values that no one had mentioned before.

The TDP data isn’t shown directly, but users can download the calculations in a text format from the Seasonic calculator, which includes this information. From this, we find out that the RTX 5090 model has the highest TDP in the RTX 50 series, with a 500W TDP. This is 50W more than the current RTX 4090 model.

The RTX 5080 reportedly has a 350W TDP, which is 30W more than the 4080. The RTX 5070 features a 220W TDP, the same as the current SUPER model. The RTX 5060 has a 170W TDP, 55W higher than the 4060, and the RTX 5050 comes with a 100W TDP. Interestingly, all these models are expected to use a 16-pin power connector. While TDP values might change, if Seasonic has accurate information, it is likely regarding the power connectors.

Additionally, the power supply manufacturer includes unreleased Radeon RX 7000 models in their listings. Although AMD has not announced any updates to its RDNA3 desktop lineup, the list features models like the RX 7990 XTX. This isn’t the first time a power calculator has mentioned an unofficial SKU; previously, the RX 7950XT was listed on the Enermax website, but it never became an actual product.

Seasonic might have information we don’t, or this could simply be placeholder data that wasn’t meant to be posted online. These SKUs are not hidden; they appear prominently when browsing available cards. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 series is expected to launch in late 2024, beginning with the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 models.
