GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER Featuring AD102 GPU Is Now On Sale in US

ZOTAC has introduced their RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, equipped with the AD102 GPU, on Newegg as anticipated.

While there haven’t been any official announcements from NVIDIA, ZOTAC, or Gigabyte, the ZOTAC SUPER SOLID and WINDFORCE MAX graphics cards are now listed on Newegg and available for purchase. This indicates that the new GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, which used to come only with the AD103 GPU, is now being sold with the more powerful AD102 processor.

Regarding specifications, there haven’t been significant changes. The card still features 8448 CUDA Cores and supports 16GB of GDDR6X memory with a 256-bit memory bus. Although the full AD102 GPU has many more cores, most of them are disabled in this version.

This model’s specifications don’t qualify it to be labeled as the RTX 4090D, the lowest SKU in NVIDIA’s lineup featuring the AD102 GPU. It’s unusual that NVIDIA had so many partially defective AD102 chips that they used them in the 4070 Ti SUPER. We might eventually see an RTX 4080 with AD102 GPUs as well.

Currently, only the SUPER SOLID OC model is listed on Newegg for $869.99, which is $70 above the official MSRP for the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER. This price isn’t very attractive since some custom models of this SKU are available for less. For example, Gigabyte’s Windforce MAX model is priced at $819.99, which is better but still above the MSRP.
